Our photo club visits "Le Centre d'Art contemporain pour la photographie" - Brussels

This time, our Photo Club prepared a visit to "L'Espace photographique Contretype, Centre d'Art contemporain pour la photographie à Bruxelles".

We met in the morning at Saint Gilles, one of the suburbs of Brussels, and we entered the Hôtel Hannon.

In the words of Visitbrussels.be: "In 1902 the engineer Edouard Hannon (1853 - 1931) called upon his friend, the architect Jules Brunfaut (1852 - 1942) to build this mansion, a masterpiece in the Art Nouveau style. At the present time the building is occupied by the Contretype Photographic organisation which is devoted to the promotion of creative photography by organising, in particular, exhibitions".

For all this reasons we thought it could be a good idea to go and visit, and it was! There, we could take a look at the work of other photographers...

...and also see the beautiful Art Nouveau house from the inside. Here there are some details:

I hope you liked this visual visit as much as we liked going there. Don't hesitate to comment and, if you have the time, go and see the cool Hôtel Hannon. Ciao!
