Photo workshop #1 - Portrait

Today it was our first Workshop as a Photography club. We were all very excited to meet each other on a Sunday morning to do one of the things we like the most: taking pictures!

Our adviser, Elio, was waiting for us at 12pm at Place Jourdan to start with our very first workshop about "portraits".
And what is interesting about Place Jourdan on a Sunday? It's market day, of course! And the place is full of colours and people. 













For a lot of us, at first, it was very awkward to ask people to pose for us as models for our portraits, but in the end we all managed to take a portrait or two.

"Hello!

My name is Elise, I'm French and I was in charge of the photo subcommittee over the last 5 months.
It's been a really good experience, I learned a  lot about photography and really enjoyed being part of a group of passionate people. 

For our project, it was really hard to choose one topic. That's why I chose "Pairs" so it allowed me a bigger liberty and because Brussels is the perfect city for such a theme! 

 
Brussels is multiple: multilingual and multicultural first, it is the capital of a country and of an International organization, it has all kind of people from civil servants of the institution coming from all over Europe, to immigrants and Belgium residents…
